Gary Bailey was an outstanding Man United goalkeeper. He made his first professional appearance for United on the 18 of November 1978, at the age of 20.He played for Man United for 9 years, winning two FA cup medals, in 1983 and 1985. Bailey was probably at his peak when a terrible knee injury cut his footballing life short and brought his career to an end. This was a shock for bailey, who really had football in his blood. His father was a goalkeeping legend at Ipswich and young Gary Bailey had always wanted to follow in his foot steps
