George Best signed for Man United on his 17th birthday and made his debut against West Brom on 14th September 1963. In 1965 he won a championship medal, adding a second in 1967. By 1968 his career was peaking - he was European/English Footballer of the Year and topped the First Division scoring chart with 28 goals. His talent was legendary - his dribbling and goal scoring skills helped Man United to the European Cup in 1967-68.The only thing George Best Does not have is enough will power to give up drinking and with a couple of scares in 2000/01 we are all praying that this Old Trafford God does the right thing and gives up the booze and enjoy's the rest of his life with his Family and Friends.
