Mark Hughes was a apprentice when he joined Man United, he then went on to make 345 league appearances, scoring 119 goals, in two spells with the club from the 1983-84 season to 1995 -- interspersed with a season each at Barcelona and Bayern Munich from 1986 to 1988. Mark was one of the best player i have ever seen at holding the ball up waiting for other team mates to move forward a true pleasure to watch but the thing i enjoyed most about Mark Hughes as a Football players was his ability to score breathtaking goals from outside the box he was differant class. Lets all wish Mark the very best now that he has hung his boots up and has started to coach Wales i got a feeling he might need it.
