Patrice Evra signed for Manchester United on the 10th of January 2006 for around £5.5 million pounds from AS Monaco the contract was for 3 and a half years. He made his debut for Manchester United on the 14th of January in a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City and made his home debut against Liverpool on the 22nd of January in a 1-0 win. Evra initially had problems adapting to the English game, but early in the 2006/2007 season he started to find a bit of form and put together a fine string of performances which won over the Old Trafford fans, he now seems to be getting better with every game.
